My first meal in my motherland!

Got off the plane at 5:30 pm.
Drove 30 min & this is where my uncle took me.
So happy. A ALL tofu place. Sounds weird? Yes.
BUT extremely delicous. Tofu dishes... please don't think it's nasty.

It was beautifully delicious.

나의 모국. 한국!

한국에 도착하자마자 처음으로 먹은 음식.

삼촌이 데려간곳은 어떤 시골집??? 처럼 생긴 두부정식. 처음에는 속으로 이게뭔가..... ( -__- ) . 하지만 첫숫가락에 입에댄순간.. 아무말없이 너무 맛있게 먹었다! 쌩유배리마치 삼촌!

First OFFICIAL day.

A date with my mom.
Really I think she was more excited than I was.

(running over people.. running in front of cars... going into WRONG restaurants... yelling in my ears.)

But yet she says shes not.

We went to myungdong. Just because. My madre wanted to go eat this kal gook su that she ate when she lived in Korea. We find the place. That says "myungdong kal gook su". RIGHT? So she thinks that's the place. We go in and she complains. Why?

Cause it tasted completely like ramyun! WHY? Cause it was the WRONG PLACE. -_-
The place she was looking for is called "Myungdong Gyoza" not "Myungdong kal gook su".

We found Myungdong Gyoza... right infront of this ramyun tastin' noodle.

Oh mother.

명동칼국수 먹으로 갔다가.. 라면 수프만 먹고왔다. 엄마는 한국왔다는데 별로 신나지않다고 한다 (부디치고.. 차오나 않오나 보지도않고.. 사람들 사이에서 빙글 빙글 돌고.. 혼자 앞서다 엉뚱한데 글거가고).

내 생각: 엄마는 들떠있다. -_-

명동칼국수 먹어야된단고. 꼭 먹어야된다고.

하. 지. 만.

잘못찾아갔다.... "명동칼국수" 란 음식점이 아니라.

"명동교자" 라는곳이다.

라면수프맛나는 칼국수 몽땅 다 먹고.....

나가보니..

바로앞에있다!

아이고... 어머니.

그래도... 참 즐거운 신간이였다. 엄마랑 친구처럼 지내는게 난 좋다!
